That is plainly absurd, as I've had the word for a *year* and have double the clickthroughs of the minimum!
This [keyword] gets 5000 or so impressions a day, meaning that after all this time my ad is now permanently disabled because ONE MORE PERSON in a four hour span didn't click my ad!
I suppose the thing to do now is for me to reload a search page for that word 1000 times, so that every other adword also becomes permanently disabled!
Unbelievable.
Forutnately just a small change in the ad will get it back on line.
Whoa! Now that's new - when did they start permanently disabling keywords just because they don't meet the CTR requirements?
A quick change in the ad copy accompanied by an increase in the max CPC along with placement of the keyword in a seperate adgroup should immediately revive the dead keyword.
Perhaps this *new* Google update is also nothing but a sign of the same.
Unfortunatley, when you have shareholders ( or soon to be)... profit is the number 1 game.
What a pity... :(
