If you are promoting something as an affiliate you need to assume you will only get 1% conversion rate, and from that work out how much you can spend per click to still make a profit.
To use adwords purely for affiliate commissions you will need to be prepared to spend to find out what products are profitable, most you try will not make money.
Thank for that information I am still watching to see what happens, how much do you normally spend on advertising in a day, anybody?
What the heck, I'll spill the beans.
I spend about $130.00 a day on average and double that money, hence $130.00 profit daily over the long term (not counting the holiday season).
If I've invested $15.00 in clicks in a new product without seeing a profit, it's gone.
First 2 months in AdWords, I lost money. Finally got the hang of it :)

i dont like comission junction at all, making money there is very difficult. there are better ways to exploit google adwords to make money than that.
just my 2 cents.
