Along with all the changes in the keyword system, has Adwords changed how Broad Match worked? I noticed today that the "expanded matching" part of Broad Match, according to Google, for a term like "tennis shoes," would now trigger my ad for substitute words, such as "sneakers." I did not realize in the past that expanded match was so liberal -- I thought at the very least that the search term would have to include the original keywords, such as "tennis shoes." Is this new, or has it always been this way?
