I am new to the forum so first of all hi to everyone.
This community is doing a yeoman service to the SEO community.Three chears for that.

I have lurking in the shadows for a while & trying to figure out some things on my own. Here is something I would want to have opinion on for this escapes me.
I wanted to know if while running a PPC campaign I create differentlanding pages in my site for different adword groups. Would the links from Google be counted as incoming links into those pages. Would the PR of those landing pages get a fillip because of this.
Thanks in advance.

Nope does not count as inbound link, the link itself is also not going directly to your website.

seo_sherpa welcome here,

Google-ads's links do not count for incoming links or Pagerank.

They are just ads and should be seen as such.

They also have no influence on search results rankings.

No,

1.Google states publicly there is no way that each index could affect the other.

2. I'm pretty sure the ads are delivered using a script that would not be parsed and it is VERY dynamic, indeed the whole page is a script as it is not a directory but a search result - millions of them a day, and even same query terms come up with diff adwords.

3. The link goes to google's tracker, not direct to your site.

4. Finally it is circular logic!
