Does any know what exchange rates Google uses?
for example if the top bid in the US for a key word was 50 cents how much would some in the UK with a sterling account have to bid in sterling to match it. I get the impression that the UK account would have to pay over the odds.

I's sure they know over in the adsense forum but will be based on daily rates so will vary daily.

That was what I would have expected the answer to be, but I think I'll monitor for a while just to make sure the adWords rep isn't telling porkies :)

Because this is so granular a calculation, there is no advantage to bidding in one currency rather than another.

If you're looking for the cheapest prices only, bidding in the currency with the lowest minimum bid can make a difference. I have no experience with this yet though but I've seen several posts about it.

I presume USD is the cheapest (0,05 USD) but I don't know for sure.
(With exceptions if you are from China or Poland - min. bid is USD 0,02?)
