In the last month or so I have noticed that Google Adwords is 2-4x more expensive than very similar campaigns on Overture and Espotting. This is for 3 different markets...
I realise the different methodolgies involved, but I would expect them to be roughly similar
Get this - to stay up on Google, I was told (by Google themselves) to make each key word a separate ad group. So, I spent hours doing this, making each have the key word in the title as told. Now, even on a cable modem and a PowerBook G4 Titanium, I can't even open my view/edit campaign screen. There is simply too much there to open and 2 browsers time out on me.

I do have much higher CTR on Overture than google.
BTW, may post was about Google having a much higher CT cost then Overture. Is this what you mean?
Glad to see that someone else has a problem with this. We have a relatively small campaign and have had problems with the "view/edit" button for about 5 days now with a dial-up service. We wrote customer service 2 days ago and have had no response. There is a definate problem with their servers. If we wait long enough it sometimes loads however it takes at least 4 or 5 minutes. Prior to 4 days ago we had no problem.
Our experience is that AdWords is 60% cheaper than Over across a wide range of our keywords where we average just under 2% CTR.
