Is it possible that google has not fixed the 'declines issue' on funded and active credit/debit card over 3 years?
That fight with the complex and deep organization of the system and I'm wondering why google doesn't care to get payed by its advertiser.
Could someone say a definitive word on this?
It doesn't matter how close to the card limit we are, it's always the card company clamping down, and there's nothing Google can do about that.
Anyway, that's been my experience (EVERY MONTH!) for the past 4 years.
By the way, about your experience, does google run your ads while you're waiting the charge approval by your card company? If not, how much time it takes to try to charge your card again and run your ads?

No, Google suspends the account and its campaigns while waiting for a credit card update.
I check every day to see if the charges have gone through, and when I see the "could not process" warning after logging in to my account (Why can't they send an email when this happens? It's not hard to do ...), I switch to Card B. When that gets declined, I switch back to Card A. As soon as the card is accepted (usually in about 20 seconds), the ads go back online.
A couple of weeks ago their credit card updating application was broken, and it took 8 days to finally get the card info updated. Since they don't take payments over the phone or in any other way for most advertisers, my ads were down for the whole 8 days while we wasted time passing emails back and forth about cleaning cookies and clearing the cache. THAT was a major pain.
