Password wasn't working anymore

Had to reset password to log in to AdWords

For some reason, tonight, AdWords was giving me an "incorrect e-mail and password" message.

I used "forgot your password", reset the password and the new one works perfectly... Is this just a fluke or has anyone else had this happen?

It's just odd...

I was having a problem logging in also. I tryed your solution of resetting the password, and everything now works fine.

It was the same for all 7 of my accounts.

Hmmmm. Very odd indeed.

In my several years on the phone with advertisers, I've heard of this maybe a dozen times - and it has always turned out to be a 'Caps Lock On' issue. It's kind of a fooler, because while the email address is not case sensitive, the password is.

For this reason, the Caps Lock being "On" can be a show stopper - and it could also explain why it happened to seven accounts.

I'm not saying that this didn't happen though, louki and llarson00. And, if this does happens to anyone, I'd be really appreciative if you were to send the details to the support team, using the 'Contact Us' link within the account in question.

If there is a glitch, it's way easier to track down with some actual examples to work from.

Sorry AWA I wasn't able to wait for support. I found that resetting the password fixed the issue, so I carried on. Next time I'll take better notes.
