I spend over $6,000 per month on Google AdWords but I guess that isn't enough nowadays to get some support from them. I have followed all their instructions online to get support, no answer. Emailed them at their support address, no answer. I have tried for weeks now, no answer.

The funny thing is I get this survey a couple days later from them "How was your support experience?"

Another quick way to find it: just go to your favorite search engine (cough!) and search on something like 'adwords phone number'. ;)

You can also get it by calling the main Google phone number. It is the first of the five menu options, as I recall.

sadly, though, and a bit in the (cough)overture(cough) mode the number is no longer on the google adwords control panel site.

I have always expected better from Google.

When I rang Google's main number (650-623-4000 found at Hoover.com) the recorded message stated the toll free advertising (AdWords) number (866-246-6453 or 866-2-google). However I am from Australia so I thought 'no way' could I get thru.

I was delighted to find that I could get thru (0011 +1 [phone]).
Go figure, I would have bet $1000s that I could not get thru on a toll free number from outside the US.

Well after multiple emails, and multiple weeks I never got a reply, but I still get their survey's. So I've answered my own question, $6,000 + per month does not get you support.

I ended up calling (thanks Nyet for the number) and did get through to a very helpful support rep who knew nothing about cross-channel tracking. But it ended up I realized what I was doing wrong so all is good now.

Overture does have its quirks, but when you submit a support ticket at Overture, you get a phone call back.

Lastly, I think Google should consider sending a large chunk of money to the owner's of this site, webmasterworld.com, I have gotten the best tech support for my Google questions here.

This has become available in recent years. Used to be you had to subscribe to a third party relaying service. Of course I'm sure you are still paying the rate for the international call, but I assume that these days it's as cheap to call from Australia to the US as it is from here to there.

Sorry, but have you ever tried this? I did. They simply REFUSE to answer any question, "email only". Where I live that is, in the Netherlands. Should we use the toll free US number as well?
