Funny how everything google does is clearly intended to make more money for google.

Updates to Google Ads Budget Pacing for Ad Scheduling
On June 01, 2026, budget pacing will change for campaigns using daily budgets in conjunction with ad schedules. This change will make it easier for advertisers to hit their monthly spending goals.

Note: Billing limits are unchanged. Your monthly bill remains capped at 30.4 times your daily budget and your daily bill remains capped at 2 times your daily budget.

Previously, our systems would typically pace towards spending your daily budget times the number of active days in your ad schedule. Starting June 1, we will pace towards spending the monthly limit (30.4 times your daily budget) regardless of any ad schedules.

Campaigns will never run on days disabled by ad schedules.

No action is required, but adjust daily budgets if your spending goals are affected. Learn more about these updates in our Help Center article.

Note: This change does not apply to Google Local Services Ads and select other campaign types (more info here).

Sincerely,

The Google Ads Team
