I´m asking this as a future client of ads agency. That´s i haven´t an agency, but i would be a client of one.

With a budget of, say, 10k : After pay taxes + agency charges me for the service (on average). How much of that initial 10k really left for ads?

Thanks in advance

Well, it depends entirely on their billing model. Many agencies have a 'retainer' for services and then charge a percentage of spend (running 10-15%). The greater the spend, the more time they spend on it.

Let me see if I understand correctly, just for the sake of language (I don't speak English): You're saying that in addition to the 10-15% for running the campaign, is there any additional "retention"? If so, what would that retention generally be, based on what you know?

It varies wildly. Some charge by the hour of work, and others have a flat fee.

I’m circling back to this, even if the thread is old: from 10,000 all-in, with a 12% fee and 20% VAT on the fee, you’re left with about 8,741 for media, 1,049 as the fee, and 210 VAT. I asked for a table with both scenarios and, midway through the process, the agency gave me the exact breakdown so I wouldn’t get any surprises on the first invoice.
