Google says it will not, at present, test FLoC in Europe over GDPR and countries where the ePrivacy Directive is in effect.

“For countries in Europe, we will not be turning on origin trials [of FLoC] for users in EEA [European Economic Area] countries,”

Google went on to say
"We are starting this FLoC origin trial for users in the US and select other countries, and we expect to make FLoC available for testing worldwide at a later date."

Turns out using personal private information to put people into interest buckets without their permission, ain't the panacea some thought.

Eventually, it will be all tokenized, block chain, securely anonymous, and permission based, and we'll get rewarded for sharing our data with marketers.

Birds of a feather FLoC together, but you gotta ask each bird if she's cool with you looking in her window, perve.
