Google about to delete paused campaigns

How long do they need to be reactivated for, to avoid deletion.

Due to high competition and to many players in one of our side businesses, we shutdown our adwords campaigns for the side business, and we are approaching the 15 month cutoff, where google will start deleting our campaigns.

A lot of our competition is going under due to covid,

We plan on reactivating our campaigns late fall.

I can't find any documentation, on how long your need to reactivate a campaign for, to protect it from being deleted. Can I just reactivate the account for a few minutes, to reset the clock on deactivation, or do I need to let it run longer?

Inactive accounts may be deleted after 15 months (based on spend, I believe), but I wasn't aware of the same being applied to paused campaigns. Did Google notify you of the impending deletion of paused campaigns?

I have a campaign in my account that's been paused for at least 4 years. Since April 2016, in fact, but it's still there.

Problem probably is that that they are under a separate accounts under the same MCC.

They were two totally separate divisions under the same company, selling to totally different goods to totally different markets.

It sounded like a good idea at the time, a long time ago.

I no longer use AdWords Manager (or whatever it's called nowadays) but can you not export into that? Or will they be purged from there also?

I doubt there will be campaign purges. I last advertised using AdWords in 2009, but all my campaigns are still there.
