Google fined by French authorities

Doesn't seem to be making the news?

Just came to my attention that Google (specifically its Ads department) was fined by the French authorities to the tune of EUR150,000,000 (along with other impositions) due to their lack of transparency.

Searching through the news, none of this appears to have even been reported? Seems strange. You would think this would be big news.

If anyone wants more info, here is the document that Google has been ordered to post on its home page in France (just run it through a translation service if you don't speak French):

@jmorgan ... no worries! The rate and increase of these government interventions has been increasing does tax the memory (pun intended).
