Credit Card

question...

My credit card hit its limit and google emailed me and told it was declined, suspended the account and asked that I log in and provide valid billing info. Obviously I need to pay it down, so that they can process this month's payment. But I'm waiting to get paid so that I can pay them (with the same card). Does anyone know what their policy is in terms of collecting outstanding balances? How long do I have?

Don't worry!
Google policy is very bland.Simply,until you don't pay your account is blocked;
I ran a campaign and I had the same problem remaining in stop for several months.Nothing has happened.
Take your time and when you can you pay.

Well that's good news. Lets hope that is an across-the-board policy. I just put Overture back online, so at least some extra traffic will be happening.

I'd like to confirm specter's post: there's no time limit that I am aware of in this situation.

Whenever your credit card it read to go, punditman, just re-enter your billing info - and you should be running again in short order.

Since lots of advertisers have asked similar questions about 'pausing', I'll just mention that you may also leave things paused for as long as you wish, and then resume them at will. There are no 'penalties' or charges for doing this.

"just re-enter your billing info"

even if nothing has changed (same card, same expiry date, etc)?

I don't get it.

AWA means, WHEN ur card company has solved your billing etc issue

basically re-entering details triggers off a fresh payment request from issuning bank.

am I correct AWA?

Exactly.

It was designed this way so that, once any issues with the card have been resolved, the advertiser can re-start their advertising without the need to contact AdWords support.

AWA

I am back home now

Was at the place as mentioned last week, but you never turned up as promised, brown paper bag or no brown paper bag.

Ask the man with the plan, he can vouch for me being there :) - even had lunch ...
