Saw something interesting this morning. One of our ads had a line added to it below the ad, it said:
"Locations: Maine, California, Florida..."

So, up until about a month ago our about us page had text that read:
"Offices located in Maine, California, and Florida"

It was odd to see this included in our ad. Definitely not something we have seem before. Strangely, it feels like this would have been added "by hand", not something that would easily be done by machine. We don't have any google places listings and the text on the site, when it did exist, did not have any markup.

In AdWords, all campaigns, Ad extensions tab, view: automated extensions report... is it shown there?
[support.google.com...]

In AdWords, Shared Library, Business Data... see it shown there?
These aren't locations, but location targets, still I'm curious if you have uploaded data there.

automated extensions report, yes. Seems they can pull information from the website and use it in the ads, specifically here they have created an "Automated location extension". Thanks for the info RhinoFish.
