(The first day seems very successfully and I was very happy)
The second day, 180 clicks cost $10.8 leading one sale of $24.95.
The 3rd day, 298 clicks cost $22.24 leading one sale of $14.00.
The 4th day, 502 clicks cost $37.65 leading zero sale.
The 5th day, 245 clicks cost $20.35 leading zero sale.
The 6th day, 308 clicks cost $26.18 leading zero sale!
It is so bad that my experience on AdWords is just like playing the slot machine in the casino: The first couple day giving you some good results and you are going to be addictive on it, but then you become to a slaver of the machine.
I don't understand why the did first 20 clicks generate me $61.40 sales but the lastest 1000 clicks generate me nothing (I checked the log file and surprised that even nobody clicked the 'add to cart' button on these 1000 clicks). Should I wait more days to collect more data on analyze the real ROI trends?
Should I quit the machine or continue to play it?
:-(
Indeed, those are unusual results, definitely not the norm and worth further investigating before you give up. You may learn some valuable lesson.
Don't overlook the obvious! Check your site out, make sure there's not something there that isn't working right. It's a longshot, but I've cursed myself more than once over campaigns that ran uselessly for a week or so!
Remember when you enter/change a URL in an ad, Google makes sure it resolves to somewhere, not necessarily where you want it to go :)
