Google's YouTube is to end the unstoppable 30-second ads from 2018. So9me might say that's good news, but, more likely it's the fact that the ads were ineffective, or frustrated users so much that the content failed to engage with users.
"We've decided to stop supporting 30-second unskippable ads as of 2018 and focus instead on formats that work well for both users and advertisers."
