Anyone else noticing this recent trend?
We run daily keyword reports for the previous calendar day, on about 700 AdWords accounts, and the number of failed reports during the last few days, is like traversing a "mine zone"... :(

AWA what's up with the reporting system of late?

AWA what's up with the reporting system of late?

redzone, it sort of amounts to a 'problem caused by success'. Bottom line, there's been a real increase in the number and complexity of reports that advertisers are requesting lately - both for scheduled and 'on-demand' reports

As you can well imagine, engineering is hard at work on creating the right system to meet current demand without breathing hard, and to meet increasing demand over time.

I'm very sorry for the delays, though. If you're having difficulty getting the reports you want, one tip for the near term is to run smaller reports - and to run them during non-peak times whenever possible. In my experience, peak times tend to be Friday, and over the weekend.

AWA,

That's lame......
Today I wake up to over 490 failed reports.
We run about as off-peak as you can get, 3-5AM. Reports ran fine until Monday. Your going to tell me that in 2 days the volume and complexity of requested reports has increased "x" fold.?

Com'n we're not clueless idiots, G just needs to get the problem resolved, and life goes on..

Woke up this morning, back to less than 1% failure ratio.. Life is Good again... :)
Well almost.... Overture 3-9 data is delayed, but the ETA is promising...
