Thought it was just me and figured it was a glitch that would go away in a bit.
Then a friend called me last night. Her adwords campaigns were closing down due to "budget not high enough". I told her to adjust the budget (though the point in which it was shutting was rediculously low in comparison to her budget). She adjusted the budget to well above the reccomended and still no go. Just to be sure, she also tried to change her card. Again, card declined.
I know G is making some changes to the payment system, so are these just two freak, coinsidental instances or is anyone else having problems?
I called all of my credit card companies and all of them have said that they did not even recieve a charge to decline from Google. There is something wrong on Google's end. I tried again and triple checked the numbers. All of my regular credit cards will not go in. My friend can't get her card in still and is ready to throw in the towel and quit.
I did finally get my Debit card to work, but I will only be able to use that for a few days. Plus, I really hate to use my debit card online.
Hey, G and AA... What's up?
Why not give Google a phone call?
I would love to (and tried), but unfortunatly the lovely Customer Service people at Google work Banker's hours. They aren't there on the weekend. :(
I think something is wrong. Two threads besides mine have been started about Google shutting down ads below budget. I did get a card to go in and yet my ads have not been resumed.
Something's wrong with the billing. Hey guys, if this does turn out to be a programming issue, didn't any one in IT school tell you never to install something on a Friday?
I'm out a few hundred bucks this weekend and I am not a happy camper. >:(
