Sure does seem to be taking a long time to approve ads lately

I think google has always said it could take up to a day to approve ads but it never used to seem to take that long. Nowadays, at least for us, it's taking all of a day and then some.

This is in a 10+ year old account that spends $1000's per day.

Wonder if they have cut staff here or if there are just way too many things they have to check out before letting an ad go live?

When I started Adwords last year, my very first ad was approved instantly. I don't know why or how but that's what happened. It was a brand new account too, started from a $100 free coupon.

They used to be very quick to get ads approved, our latest ads are coming up on 20 hours "under review"...

36 hours to get an ad approved...

Sure glad it was not a timely, current events type of ad.

Gets even worse when you have a policy violation that suspends the account. Turns out in some cases if that happens they are forcing all ads in the account to get approved. I have thousands of ads, been waiting since Friday to get this moved through.
