On my Display Remarketing Campaign am I correct that Converted Clicks and View thru Conversions are unique and should be added together to get my total conversions?
Converted Clicks + View Thru Conversions = Total Conversions

converted clicks are people that clicked your ad and then made a purchase. View throughs are people that were displayed your ad, then made a purchase through another channel.
IMO view throughs shouldn't be weighted as heavily as true conversions.

"View-through conversions automatically exclude conversions from people who have also clicked your Search or other Display ads."
Converted Clicks count the first sale after a click. Conversions counts all sales after a click.
+you can change the "how long" after in Tools, Conversions, Settings - defaults to 30 days.
+Converted clicks typically used in Lead Gen, the initial sign-up is the main focus.
+Conversions, which includes repeat buys (with not other clicks in between) typically used in Ecomm, where total revenue driven is the main focus.
+The underlying data that flows into AdWords, can be from an AdWords script (cookie based, attribution defaults to LastIn, only within AdWords as a single, stand alone channel), Analytics [session based (assisted by cookies), attribution defaults to LastIn, within the multi-touch ecosystem tracked in Analytics), or other lesser used inputs. Analytics inputs can be configured individually, Ecommerce tracking, specific Goals, etc.
So...
"Converted Clicks + View Thru Conversions = Total Conversions" Too simple a formula (for example, limited by return days setting if using an AdWords script, obfuscated by multi-channel attribution if using Analytics inputs, excludes repeat buys, etc) :-)
