How many ads should be running in an Ad-group?
Azcona, I'm sure others will weigh in on this - as I know that many on this Forum use multiple ads to their continuing advantage.
But really, there is no single answer to this question. Just using multiple ads, with no underlying plan, is not particularly valuable in my opinion.
So the first question to ask yourself is what do you hope to achieve my using multiple ads in one Ad Group? Then once you have answered this question, it is time to start testing - and the answer will sort of make itself known over time.
Some possibilities as to why you might want to use multiple ads:
* To advertiser multiple things? (If so, then multiple, specifically targeted, Ad Groups might be better.)
* To test the wording of one ad copy against another - in terms of CTR or ROI?
* To test one 'offer' (or price) against another - in terms of CTR or ROI?
* To test one 'landing page' (Destination URL) against another - in terms of ROI?
* And so on...
