I've found paid search results for some sexually explicit web sites.

As the title says I've found a search term where Google is displaying 5 paid as for some very explicit dating web sites. I believe these ads contravene Google's policies for adwords and as such I reported them a week ago but they're still showing.

Has anyone else here seen this kind of thing before? Does Google have a habit of willfully turning a blind eye? Or will they eventually do something about it?

so long as the terms are legal I don't see a problem - I've been involved with adult dating for some years and have seen loads of explicit terms being bid on ....not by me, as an affiliate its a market place I cannot afford

I don't know. This is a lot more graphic than just dating.

Don't the same rules as AdSense apply?

No, you can buy ads for some pretty graphic terms, but try to promote those via Adsense and G won't allow, yet another case of double standards !

These must not be the same "dating web sites" that I see advertised on television, which appear to strive for an image of respectability.

as the OP used the term "explicit" I should think thats very unlikely

When you search, do you have safe search turned on or off?
