Ad Scheduling for Multiple Time Zones

We are based in the UK so our Adwords account is set to London time, however, we operate in the Canada, Mexico, UK and US. We need to be able to switch (on and off) some our campaigns to ONLY work during office hours. For example, 9:00am in New York, is 2:00pm in London and 5:00pm New York is 10:00pm London time, which is simple to set.

However when we try and set up Ad Scheduling for California, we cannot do this. 9:00am in Los Angeles is 5:00pm in London, and 5:00pm in Los Angeles is then 1:00am the following day in London. This is where the problem occurs. When I try and set the Ad Scheduling to operate during office hours in California, the system tells me "End time earlier than start time"

Please, anyone have any idea how we solve this?

Yeah, this is a real nightmare. The only real solution is to split out your campaigns into different accounts for each of the territories.

Bummer we know as it means losing your QS but its one of the things AdWords is not good at is accounts that target multiple territories.

Setting up different campaigns for different time zones should solve the problem. The quality score will improve soon, so that is only a short term effect. There are many additional advantages for separate campaigns: People react differently in different regions. One keyword may work in London but not in New York. So in the long run it pays to tune the campaigns to the different audiences.
