Managing Adwords for clients

We are now finding ourselves in a position where many of our clients are thinking about starting/using Adwords campaigns to potentially get back traffic from lost natural rankings and they've asked if we can manage this for them.

We have never had much involvement at all with Adwords so if you don't mind I have some (probably very basic) questions:

Can we set up multiple accounts for different clients?
Can the clients pay but we manage?
Are there any drawbacks to the clients not managing this themselves?

Any hints/tips gratefully received :)

As your first question is "Can we set up multiple accounts for different clients? " about different clients.

Yes you can handle different clients with different account with same place, there is option in Google Adwords to handle multiple accounts with the help of My client center.

Last and final answer is, there is not any drawback if clients not handle their account themselves.

Your second question answer is, yes client can pay with his account and you can manage that accounts.

MCC is dedicated for agencies like you, where you can have one interface to manage multiple accounts. It also helps you on billing as well. It is a pretty useful system.

You can either have different CC for each account under MCC or you can use your CC and bill them.
