Weird hits, apparently from adwords

In my logs, I have some weird hits that look like they must have come from one of my adwords ads. The URIs requested look like this:

/%3Fref%3Dgaw2&sa=l&ai=B0UwAHpYDQsDlO4yUaaKbmYMPiZn8CNn6q6IB7bfvhgHQyhYQBRgNIJJOKAhIwTmQAQiYAZxKoAHN1u_-A8gBAQ&num=13

The reason I think this is coming from my ads is that I tack?ref=gaw2 on the end of the URL for some of the ads, and that's what is at the beginning of this requested URI (except it's urlencoded). The rest of the stuff, including the "num=13," I have no idea about. They don't all have the same number after the "num=," but they all have it. Every hit got a 404, for obvious reasons.

No referer was sent. The UserAgent is reported as "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0)." The IP is in dyn.optonline.net.

Has anyone else seen anything like this? Any ideas what's up?

Search for your keyword in Google and then check the URL that shows up there. You will find these 3 parameters - sa, ai and num. num refers to the position of your ad. So num=1 means it was in the first position and so on. ai I guess is some kind of ad id that Google uses for tracking. I haven't figured out what sa mean.

That being said, I have never seen these parameters appear on my log files nor have they caused any 404 errors. You might want to check this out with the Adwords support.
