Google AdWords Editor 10.0 Launched With Enhanced Campaigns Management

You can now use AdWords Editor to upgrade and manage enhanced campaigns. Once you install AdWords Editor 10.0, you'll be able to:

Upgrade campaigns to enhanced, either individually or in bulk.

Set campaign level bid adjustments for mobile devices.

Set bid adjustments for targeted locations.

Specify device preferences for individual ads (Mobile or All).

Currently (pre-enhanced version), we show ads only on Computers: Labtops and Desktops, and do not show on mobile or tablets as our m.site isn't ready yet. In any case, my question is Google is forcing everyone over soon (there's no opt-out of the enhance-o-matic). So, will accounts like mine get hurt in any way? I mean I'm sure (as with any Google change) there's got to be a financial reason in it for them (likely hte mobile ads...but the offer that now...so WHY will it be BETTER for mobile ads FOR GOOGLE after the enhanced is forced-fed to us? And the 2nd part: how will accounts that don't want to be part of mobile/tablets yet, be hurt after enhance? Thanks.
