Drop in Conversion Rates (tracking?)

We have been running AdWords on a pretty large scale. At least I assume it is, tens of thousand of clicks, millions of impreessions, etc.

We do pretty good. Today though I noticed our Conversion Rate is showing a little over 1% where as normally we are around 10%.

Any of you seeing the same thing that use the Google Conversion Tracking code in your account?

Thanks.

I use their conversion tracking, and I have been
having terrible results. I can't even get logged in
to my account right now.

Well, I finally got logged back in, so I've paused
my conversion tracking and will see what happens.

Let me know. I am not in panic mode right now but obviously a drop of 9% really seems almost statistically impossible at the volume of clicks / conversions we are at and have been for months.

I'm wondering if something is blocking Adwords that
use conversion tracking again. I paused my conversion
tracking last night, and I got more traffic than I
normally do overnight. This morning I resumed the
conversion tracking and it seemed like my traffic
slowed way down again. I've just paused it again to
see if it picks back up again. Will have to wait to
see what happens today. There was a time a while back
when, I don't remember what the program was now, but
it was blocking all Adwords that were using
conversion tracking, but not other ads there weren't
using it.

I remember the same issue Wayne. I am hoping AWA can confirm if such an issue exists right now. Our Conversion rate has continued to be substantially lower -- the response that users all of a sudden have decided to not register at my site is very unlikely, but that is what I am going to assume will be the response from the Google Help Desk staff initially (it will be very frustrating if that is what they state).

Again -- I am not complaining about a 1 or 2% fluctuation in conversion but rather a 90% drop starting yesterday.

I'm not aware of anything, ugamis1. I've also sent the link to this thread to the tech folks for their review, and they are not aware of any issues either.

We'll certainly keep our eyes and ears open, though, and I'll post again if I hear anything more.

Everything seems to be back to normal for me now.

All conversion stuff runs normal here (and has been for the last month or so)

slouches head...... IT department unleashes new splash page between registration and 'success page' where google conversion tracking resides.

does not look to be a google problem, more of like an IT department not updating me on site changes problem!

erhh
