Google Quality Score Question

does pausing the keyword affect quality score?

Dear All,

I was wondering, if pausing the top performing keyword for a day and reactivating them the next day affect quality score of that keyword and/or affect/erase the history of that keyword? One of my client said it does affect the performance once the top quality score keyword is paused. But, I don't think it will affect the quality score of that keyword.

Please let me know your take on this.

Pausing a keyword has no impact on its quality score.

You can even delete a keyword, and resurrect it years latter with no impact on the historic keyword quality score.

This means the Quality score of the keyword will remain intact while reactivating it again at later date? Please let me know.
