Hi there, Everyone:

In general, how long do image ads take to get approved this time of year?

I have a couple that have been waiting on approval for four days now.

Also, does using the display ad builder INCREASE the time it takes for approval?

Thanks in advance.

Image ads take longer because they all have to be approved by a human. The time it takes depends on how many they have to go through. I've seen a week or more sometimes but usually just a few days. The last ones I submitted about a month ago took two or three days.

There's nothing you can do to reduce approval time. You just have to be patient and wait.

If it's taking longer than a couple of days for your ads to get approved, you can always try calling adwords and asking them to expedite the review.

Often they'll move things along if the ads have been under review for more than a few days.

I find that if your image ads (or text ads) have been under review for more than 3-5 days; that you can use this form: [support.google.com...] to get them reviewed (and often approved) very quickly.

Often that seems to be faster than talking to a person unless you have a high level rep.

On a side note: I have been really impressed with Google's customer support lately. We're having a very complex issue at the moment and they are taking the initiative to schedule calls to get everything resolved.
