New Accounts in MCC Unavailable Until 2012?

Am I just misunderstanding something here?

We're being told that due to the redesign of the MCC, we can't add any new accounts until after January. I think we must be misunderstanding something as this means no new client setups for over a month - which seems crazy.

Can anyone shed light on this for me?

i've added several in the last few days. when did this start for you? how were you "told"?

Our Adwords rep told my search guys. I'm hoping they misunderstood, but I'm thinking it might be true.

maybe you're doing something special with API access and there's a change afoot there?

otherwise, though it's just a hunch, i'd think regular MCC users would have been told somehow (though you were told), even if via blog.

not sure, i'm a small (but brilliant!) player, so good chance i'm in the dark, more so than your team.

I think I misspoke. It's not that we can't add accounts, it's that we can't put the account under our MDO.
