Hi Guys
First time poster so please be gentle if I state the obvious!
I have been searching on the site about which sectors are the best to focus on when generating new clients.
I am starting off as a ppc consultant after working in an sme for 3 years and doing their adwords for them.
The problem I have is that the companies I am working with are just too small I guess.
For example one company were selling a product for €500 with €200 profit on it. With adwords a sale was costing €20 and 3 weeks before xmas last year the campaigns had to be shut down as they couldnt keep up with the demand. Anyways the point of the story is in Feb they finished with me and Adwords because it was costing too much and they didnt have the advertising budget for it despite the fact that everytime they spent 20 they generated a sale for 500.
So what size business do you guys go for as clients and what sectors do you find need PPc consultants the most?
Thanks in advance
Liam

PPC consulting?

I think you already are familiar with a business that spends $20 to make $200. Why aren't you doing that?

They fabricate their product and tbh its not something I could make. The point I was trying to make though is that the campaign was a run away sucess as I saw it but the company (a one man show) didnt/couldnt spend money on advertising which brings me back to my original question
