I just set up call metrics for one of my campaigns. It hasn't taken affect so I haven't tried this yet. Can I take the generated number and put it in my landing page?

Also if my landing page is a product page that may be viewed by others I'd have to figure out a way to show that number only to people who clicked the ad

Update: The number shows up in my ad, I try calling it and it doesn't even ring, just says not available try again

nope, right now, it's just for numbers in your ads.

you can't write a script to handle this, it can't detect the number G used for that ad. everyone knows this is needed, bet they'll add it soon.

in the meantime, try someone like ring revenue - they have pooled numbers that can track back to the keyword, and have a script you can put on your site to dynamically overwrite your usual number with the dynamic one associated with the click. there are others besides ring rev, check out G's list of phone tracking service providers.
