I have a personal AdWords account, which I never used much, and haven't used at all for at least four years now.

As far as I knew, it was still in good standing. I admit that I have tested some dodgy things in it in the past, but Google never gave any indication that they noticed. And I used it for a year or two in advertising some new (more legitimate looking) websites, but I haven't needed it in quite some time.

So over the weekend, I get three separate emails that old domains of mine that were previously disapproved have been reviewed and are now approved to run ads - yippee!

Except those three domains are parked, and have been for almost two years now, till I figure out what I want to do with them next.

So then I go over to my account to see if there's any indication there why I'm getting these emails (I didn't even remember running ads on the domains, but I found a very old campaign where I had before I parked them)

But there were no notices about the domains at all - just a notification that there are three current *ad* disapprovals. So I went back through the entire history of the account, including all the deleted stuff, but I can't find any indication of any disapproved ads. And the notification contains no information or link to show me which of my old outdated (and canceled) ads have been disapproved.

Is someone minding the store these days? Don't make me come down there.

The system is cranky and flaky at times, for sure.
I wonder if Google are re-evaluating anything that's been disapproved in the offchance that they might make some $$ they were missing.
