Permanent suspension due to address non-verification

I started my Adwords account middle of last year. About 2-3 months ago I noticed a big red banner on the campaigns page saying my account had been permanently suspended. Down the left hand side there was a comment that I hadn't verified my address.

I have been trying since noticing this to get the account reactivated. My experience has been one of extreme frustration. 8 emails and 7 phonecalls (most being messages left which are never returned) and I am still nowhere near getting this resolved. All I get are generic email replies saying (in oart), "Thank you for your continued patience during this process. Our specialists have re-reviewed your accounts and have determined that our decision is correct and final. As a result, your account, and any related accounts you may have created, have been suspended, and your ads will no longer run on Google."

I once got hold of a real person on the phone and made him my account rep. However, he sent me the same generic email and will not answer email or phonecalls.

Does anyone have suggestions? It's like they just don't care.

Given the history of others here, you need to close this chapter and move on. Wish there was something else that might be said, but there isn't. Once banned... forever banned.

There should be a link in the email they sent you about the banning that you can click on to fill out a form to be reincluded.

I've seen many companies banned who have gotten their accounts reinstated. Sometimes its an easy form fill or a phone call, other times it's a long arduous process.

Would this be specific to some regions or ... ? First time I hear about address verification for AdWords.

Don't recall having to verify my address either. If you are using a credit or debit card, check to make sure that the address you supplied AdWords is the exact same one as on your cards billing statement.

I don't know if it's region specific - my keywords were localized and I never used a CC. I had started the account using a $50 credit and they canceled the account before I could pay them anything.

Did the error message state your billing or email address had not been verified?

If email address, the email address you supply when you create the account probably needed to be verified within a certain amount of time by clicking the link they sent to you in an email.

If billing address, even though you used a credit I think you still need to supply an address right, did you? If not, maybe they require it. If you did, the only thing I can think of is the address you supplied did not match the country where the voucher was issued.
