I was just reminded how much I hate Google Adwords.
More specifically its user interface.
I am not thick or computer illiterate.
But I have just wasted half an hour trying to pause my only Adwords campaign!
(I had noticed that I was spending to much and thought I had better put it on hold till I had time to work on the campaign)
But I could not find any pause or hold option. I hunted everywhere.
Then I went to help - nothing there.
Then I typed in help "How Do I pause a campaign"
Nothing there ! - they obviously don't want you to be able to pause a campaign.
Then I found a help page on how to pause a campaign.
It says "Next to the Campaign name, click the "Status Icon""
Well the Status Icon is a green dot !
At last I was able to pause the campaign.
I remember a year ago their clunky interface put me off using Adwords, and this experience has just re-minded me of that.
