Hello All,

First Post Here. Thanks for a great forum.

I'm looking for a desktop based software package that would turn on my google adwords at a certain time and then turn them off at a certain time.

We market a product that truly only gets the bulk of its sales during certain hours of the day, and the rest of the time is near to null.

Any suggestions?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld PPCMgr! :)

I've never found a replacement for manually turning the listings on and off... Last time I looked there wasn't any software out there that would do this (although some of the high-end bid management tools may do it, they don't shout about it).

Old thread on the subject. I've not tried any of the suggestions in it:

Thanks for the great suggestions. I might try the software mentioned in the other topic.

Does anyone know if CTR gets effected when campaigns are paused for half a day?

Pausing campaigns doesn't have any effect on your CTR other than not being online part of the day.

Please note that it can take a couple hours for ads to be paused or resumed across all data centers. It's usually faster than that, but not always.

Supposedly it does not effect the position but I have noticed I tend to lose the position across the top. This is maybe a bonus that needs to time to be reapplied. I am speculating but I have noticed this several times.
