With the same set of keywords, it is possible to yield the optimized value of Cost-per-click (CPC)?

E.g.

CPC 1US => max. 400 clicks per day
CPC 0.5US => max. 300 clicks per day
CPC 0.2US => max. 200 clicks per day
CPC 0.1US => max. 100 clicks per day

If my target clicks is only 200, definably I will be bidding at CPC 0.2US, not 1US.

Any thought?

if you change the bid, the click volume changes, but so does the price - so what you want to optimize is profit (allowing for the higher cpc of higher volume)

very good video Google has made addressing this question exactly:

title = Our Chief Economist, Hal Varian, explains the how to adjust your bids to maximize the profit from your marketing investment on AdWords.
