My company spends in the region of $7K-$12K per month on Adwords. This will soon rise to $10K-$18K per month. I thought I read somewhere that Google will assign a manager to accounts that spend around $10K per month?
Does anyone know if this is true, and what are the precise criteria for having a manager assigned to an account? And how could I arrange for this to happen, assuming I meet the criteria?
I know if we had a customer who spent $115K+ per year, we'd treat him/her like royalty - instead we got a clock-radio from Google for Christmas! ;)
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul.
The benefit is that the manager would make sure the ads are running ok, CTRs are good, spend is where it should be etc.
No they won't. They send stock replies and generally change jobs before you get to talk to them.
But I'm just bitter. I think Google are just short staffed.

They certainly will not proactively offer any of these services. In my experience, they will NOT offer any assistance on creatives, strategy, or any sort of monitoring that your campaign is running well or even running at all - whatsoever.
The only benefit, IMHO, is if you manage substantial campaigns - you may make changes (through your rep) to keywords, creative, bids, etc. en masse via a bulk sheet (Form spreadsheet) as oppposed to through their less-than-robust interface.
