Hi

I have a client who sells engagement rings, I have done research into the best time of the year and week to push bidding. They have a budget of £20 per day, I have set some days to be 75% and other to 100%. Does this means that the budget I don't spend on the 75% days will be added to the 100% days? I know that it will effect the ad-rank, but I want to optimise the account for the best times to market.

Thanks

Maek

Hi Maek,

Ad scheduling doesn't reduce the daily budget, it just lets the ads enter the auctions during those times it is active.

Google can go up to 20% over your daily budget on any given day as well, but it works out over a month period.

If you want to spend less on certain days you might want to consider a duplicate campaign with different budgets and use the ad scheduling to control when they are on and off.

Or better still, spend all of the budget on the best times and none at others.
