I have 3 different ads that land on 3 different urls but need to share the same pool of keywords.

Seems simple enough but I also need unique roi conversion data for each ad going to each unique url?

Whats the best way to share keywords among unique ads with unique urls but still get specific conversion data for each ad?

thanks

it's your question...

you can do everything just as you've asked, so where's the question?

your pooled ads have to go to the same domain, but they can have different urls, and when you enter them, you just enter them with different urls. the reporting for ads shows conversion rates, so the system is already set to do this (and more). so i'm not sure what you're asking.

it's like if you asked what's the best way to enter a keyword in lower case format? answer, enter it as lower case?

Hi Rhino,

the pooled keywords go to 3 ads, each ad lands on a different domain altogether. If I install conversion code in each domain for the one adgroup all 3 conversion codes will report to the 1 adgroup. Therefore we wont know which domain converted the visitor, it will pool the conversion data.

Thanks - J

I think we figured it out. We'll just set up unique conversion code for each domain, the adgroup data will be mixed but we can pull conversion data from the "conversions" page and combine the two reports.

You don't need to have a different conversion code for each domain. You can use the same one for all domains.

You also cannot have ads in one group for more than one domain. So you'll need a different group for each domain you have. I'm assuming here you are talking about using the same keywords.

If I understand your plan correctly, you are just making more work for yourself than necessary.
