How do you qualify for the "sitelinks" Ad extension

Free sitelinks added to your ads? Absolute bargain!

According to Google:

"Ad Sitelinks allows advertisers to include up to four additional page links on qualifiying text ads that appear on Google.com and Google Search Network partners. This extension is available globally on ads that meet our quality requirements. The most common campaigns to qualify for the Ad Sitelinks feature are high-quality campaigns that contain keywords and ads specific to your brands."

I'm running a huge adwords account but not one of my campaigns qualifies for "ad sitelinks". Many of the adwords in these campaigns are running at 10/10 quality. So I'm assuming that the "specific to brands" is playing a big part.

Does anybody out there qualify for "ad sitelinks" that is NOT running a brand related site? Or is it just another example of skewing the odds in favour of the "big guys"?

Your ad needs to rank #1 for the sitelinks to appear and it has to have an incredible CTR (i.e. associated with brand keywords). I've seen a lot sitelinks examples and they've all been on brand searches. It will work for big and small companies alike though.

I'm actually seeing a few instances of ours showing up for non-brand searches. However, we only have one account that even has the option within campaign settings. That account has been around for years. It seems that any new account for us, even if it has brand terms and other strong campaigns with 10/10 QS and #1 positioning, will not be given the option for Site Links within campaign settings.
