Brand new to Adwords and just attempted to add conversion tracking.

When I copied the conversion tracking script between body tags in my "thank you" page, the "Google Site Stats" text is not showing up on the page, although the script is visible when viewing the page source.

1. Is this a problem? Will the script still work properly without the text being visible?

2. If a problem, any thoughts? I also pasted into a blank HTML page (between Body tags) and had the same results.

3. Feel free to lob grenades in my general direction.

Thanks.

The conversion tracking script is only visible if someone clicks from Google to your site (i.e. when the cookie is placed).

If you'd like to know exactly how it looks on your page, find a $0.05 ad of yours and click on it. As long as the cookie is on your computer, you can view everything.

Also, you can pause conversion tracking for a time while you look around your site so that your visits don't mess up your conversion stats - just don't forget to unpause it.

I will give that a try. Many thanks.
