Google claims it is against their AdWords policy for the main purpose of a site to be to send traffic to another site.
As an affiliate, I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to get around this because my sites keep getting slammed with a Poor landing page Quality Score from manual reviews. There are plenty of big shopping comparison engines that get around this.
However, my sites sell products that are only available from one merchant and so turning my site into a shopping comparison engine would be impossible.
But still, isn't the main purpose of a shopping comparison engine to send traffic to other websites?
What can I change on my site which would technically make the main purpose compliant with Google without having to remove my CJ links? What does Google consider to be main purposes of websites? If I add reviews to my sites does the main purpose change to "providing customer reviews" instead of "sending traffic to another website"? Is the main purpose of a shopping comparison engine to "offer the best deals" instead of "sending traffic to another website"?
Or does Google just pick favorites and let sites get around certain policies if their monthly spend is high enough?
