No impressions as of now

I just am trying adwords for the first time. My adwords campaign is enabled and status is eligible, but still there has not been a single impression.

If I keep CPC at the lowest what are chances of it showing up at least once anywhere as long as status is enabled.

I would guess that this is a brand new campaign and that the ads themselves are still pending. I could be wrong but you haven't told us much.
