Hi,

after a (un)reasonably stupid past mistake on my part I now always click on my ad once immediately it goes live and is visible. This way I make sure the landing page is actually connected to the ad.

I am hoping that this does not negatively impact our QS in any way.

Would you care to offer an opinion on my behavior?

Thanks

Clicking your own add once or twice is not a problem. (you are paying for it)

In an AdWords help video the Googler even encourages you to "test" your ad to make sure everything works.

If you don't want to run up the money, click on your ad from the AdWords editor.

Wasn't there a plugin from Google that allows you to click without it being registered?

Just curious, is that different than clicking the ad in the UI?

Probably not, but I don't use the UI unless I really really need to.
