Hello there!

I`m checking competitor ads from google Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, etc... but Iīm in Peru.

The thing is, Iīm putting google.com.mx (for Mexico), google.com.ar (for Argentina) and checking the ads for different kws...

But... I know people in Argentina can use Geo-Targeting to show their ads only in Argentina. So... when Iīm checking them out, as they arenīt targeting Peru, maybe their ads wonīt show for me...

Does going to google.com.ar guarantees me that Iīm seeing ALL their ads, despite the fact iīm in Peru?

Thanks!

Erick

Doing as you suggest doesn't work. Google defaults to your country's domain based on your IP. Here in Canada for example, typing google.com or google.co.uk switches me to google.ca

Use google.com/adpreview to see ads in other countries.

LucidSW, Actually it doesnīt send me to my countrieīs Google.

When I put Google.com.mx, it sends me Google Mexico (it`s says Mexico in the Google logo), and all their ads are shown to me, while when entering to "my" Google, they doesnīt show.

I compared them with de adpreview extension and the ads where exactly the same for each country...

Maybe itīs different for us downhere in SouthAmerica :)

I can only guess you're doing it wrong. You must not only select the country from the drop-down list on the right but also enter the proper extension (google.mx, google.co.uk...)

Hi erickgamo,

LucidSw is not right you can go to any Google site and see what is there. it may try to switch you but you don't have to follow. Make sure that you are not loged in, maybe clear cookies. I do this type of searches on daily basis and it works fine. If you are in Ireland as I am and you will type google.com it will try to send you to google.ie (they assume that you are mistaken) but if you do this again it will go were you want to. I can see adwords in Canada, UK or anywhere i want.

erickgamio,

the best way is to use the Preview tool
