My Adwords are bright yellow. Anyone else see this?

wow, that made them really stick out.

back to normal for me now, but I did get a screenshot.

yeah, decided to post before I left for dinner. Just got back. Had a nice juicy Red Robin Burger (Whiskey River Burger). They are soooo good!

I think that "text link" is simply the next entry in the SERP; a cropped screen shot.

I wonder if this is a test, or what. I have on occasion gotten pink, but normally it's just the normal green, pink or blue pastel. Never seen bright yellow before. And also, it was even brighter yellow than what the screen shot shows. It darkened the yellow when I converted it into a JPEG.

I kind of liked the color, definitely more visible.

Alpine... You are correct, I didn't think I needed to grab the whole screen. The bold line was just part of the normal SERP

Ok, just checking. (I didn't see that when I ran that search so...) I half wondered if Google was off charting some new terratory.

Testing if brighter colors have higher clickthroughs? The screenshot shown hurt my eyes :) If they do go with alternative colors I suggest all five iMac colors :P

On an interesting note, the yellow ads look just like the one on Google's adwords login page:

I haven't seen the yellow ads around since the first time I saw them.

I really like it. It sure shows up better than the weak blue.
I used to sell Yellow Pages advertising many eons ago and have always liked the bright yellow for attention. These are ads afterall. I use yellow highlighting behind important features throughout our websites to give them more impact. We think it works very well.
