Could really use some assistance on this one.

I've been running several very successful campaigns, over 5 domains, for around a year.

I recently decided to move the sites to a new, single domain. The reasoning was to focus on one high quality website, centralize content and give a better user experience.

The problem is that since pointing the ads to the new domain, my clicks have since gone through the floor and profits are negligible. I had expected some dip in account peformance but not this much. All keywords have 7 - 10 quality score.

My thoughts are:

- People just don't like the new domain in the ad
- The old urls have a long history and a better CTR
- There's something else I'm missing

It would be a backwards step to revert to the old domains as the new system would allow my business to grow and provide a lot more for users. (It also cost a lot of money and time). But this looks like what I'll have to do. This could be a classic case of 'if it ain't broke, don't try and fix it!'

Any help on this would be VERY much appreciated.

Thanks

why didn't you just create new campaigns for those not already on the target domain?

pausing ads/keywords doesn't harm QS of neighbouring items so there shouldn't be a reason to delete them unless you've maxed out your account limits?
